The female’s name is Ayomi and her male calf’s name is Pathum. We first encountered them by the Weheragala Tank (lake). They were with two other females. Unfortunately the body conditions of both Ayomi and Pathum are not great. We first saw them a couple of days back at Madupitiya Plains by the Tree Hut Elephant Corridor around 11 am.
